BAND STATEMENT

 

We're saddened and disappointed to announce that our upcoming 'Bootleg Rock Show' tour in May has now been cancelled.

 

As anyone who saw our BRS tour last year will know, we aim to always present a top level rock show with a 100% live 7 piece band, video screens, light show, stage effects and the best sound quality possible. We believe you DESERVE exactly that type of show... and we refuse to go out with backing tapes or stripped back musical arrangements like so many similar shows are doing.

 

However, for a show of our quality, the costs involved mean that healthy advance ticket sales are absolutely necessary to ensure performances can go ahead. On this occasion, though some shows have had good advance sales, others are lacking, meaning the overall losses for the tour will be too much for the Production Company to absorb.

 

We understand that times are still tough financially and there have also been some very big tour announcements recently, but in theatreland, advance purchase of tickets is essential and at this point we simply can't risk hoping for a large walk up on the night or a spike in ticket purchases in the final week.

 

If you have already purchased your ticket(s), thank you for doing so, but please now contact your venue for ticket refunds.

 

We thank you all for your support and understanding in this situation and look forward to hopefully performing for you again at some point in the future.
